CLOtC Member Courses

The Council for Learning Outside the Classroom has partnered with Medical Lifesigns to offer tailored CLOtC Member-specific first aid training at discounted rates.

First Aid at Work course (FAW) 3 days: This course is for organisations that want a 3 day HSE-approved course which covers all areas of first aid training.

First Aid at Work Refresher course (FAWR) 2 days: This 2 day course is for staff who have previously attended a three day FAW course and need to requalify.

Emergency First Aid at Work course (EFAW) 1 day: This is a basic one day emergency course for those who may act as an appointed first aider in their workplace.

1 day ECP Explorer Medicine course: This is a basic one day emergency course for those operating in remote, outdoor environments.

2 day ECP Exploration Medicine course: This course is designed for group leaders operating in remote, outdoor environments.

2 day Off-Site Safety Management (OSSM) course: The OSSM course was designed in response to concerns about safety in off-site activities. it address the content of legislation in this area and provides an opportunity for attendees to explore the application of the legislation in practical situations.

Our First Aid courses meet the requirements of the Health & Safety Executive and are valid for three years.
